Fees / Tuition Information: Tuition varies depending on the course. Ranges are $20.00 - $1000.00. Lab time is part of tuition here at DHIMA. There is no additional cost for lab time while an enrolled student. Students are able to get large amounts of lab time due to our 24-hour facility and other lab resources. This is a critical part of the learning process here at DHIMA.

Entrance Requirements: All computer based programs:
1. Interview (by phone or in person)
2. Basic computer skills.
4. An interview with the instructor is required for the intermediate and advanced course.
5. A demo reel is required for our advance courses.

Program Description: DHIMA located in Los Angeles California, was founded in 1997 as the first international training center of Digital Hollywood - Japan.
DHIMA is an Authorized Discreet Training Center and an Authorized Alias/Wavefront Academic Training Partner. We provide specialized training in Maya, 3ds Max, Combustion, Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Director, Illustrator and other related software. We also offer traditional art courses in storyboarding, life drawing, and sculpting. DHIMA is dedicated to training students and professionals in the arts and sciences of computer graphics and aid them in developing essential skills needed to enter professional environments in digital animation, special effects and multimedia.

Alumni Information: Alumni continue their relationship with DHIMA by receiving an email newsletter, going to DHIMA parties, and also by attending industry lectures, sometimes doing their own lecture. An evergrowing info network of jobs, industry events, and organization news is distributed to DHIMA alumni.
Career Placement Information: A job board is maintained and companies call us for internships and job opportunities. This info is distributed to all present students and alumni. From the very beginning students are encouraged to start their job/company research early and to consult periodically with staff and instructors on career direction. In addition, DHIMA holds industry demo reel parties for companies to review finished student demo reels. These parties are held twice a year.
