Program Philosophy: Animation is the most imaginative and nibble of art forms. In creating the illusion of life, one must come to an intimate understanding of how shape, form and time can be used as a means to effectively realise ideas in a tangible way. By exploiting the nexus of time, interactivity and narrative, the Centre for Animation and Interactive Media excels in areas that are distinctly different from those addressed by many other programs offering a narrower interpretation of animation and multimedia. This enables us to embrace the broadest possible definition of this wondrous art.
