Program Description:
Platt (Media Arts) College - San Diego provides a comprehensive and dynamic educational experience for those seeking careers in 3D Animation, Advertising, Graphic Design, Media Arts, Game Art & Design, Digital Video Production, Multimedia, and Web Design.

Platt (Media Arts) Colleges' campus is located in the heart of sunny San Diego, California (avg. year round temp. = 72 degrees); just minutes from beaches, mountains, and deserts, which sets Platt College in a creative and unique environment.

You can earn a B.S. Degree in Media Arts in just 2 1/2 years and an A.A.S. Degree in Graphic Design or Multimedia in as little as 15 months. Platt College also offers specialized diplomas in Web Design, DV Production, and Animation.

We welcome all potential students who are creative, meet our admission requirements, and are ready to commit to their future. We recognize and value the benefits that students from all cultures bring to our school diversity.

We offer year-round enrollment in both day and evening classes. Our career services department provides job preparation and job placement assistance. Financial aid is available to qualified students.

Faculty Description:
Our instructors are passionate about the topics they teach. They are working professionals as well. Emphasis is placed not only on classroom lecture, but assisting students one-on-one.

Career Placement Information:
We have Career Services on staff. We have many great relationships with many high end companies in the San Diego area and abroad. Internships are also available depending on availability.

Other Pertinent Information:
Platt (Media Arts) College is located near San Diego State University. Many apartments and houses are available to rent nearby. The College is on major public transit routes and close to major freeways. We are located about fifteen minutes northeast from the downtown area of San Diego.
