The program fees range anywhere from Rs 25,000/- per semester to Rs 45,000/- per semester, depending on which course the student takes.

Financial Aid Information:
But we help get the student bank loans.

Entrance Requirements:
Anyone with creative abilities or intent can join the foundation courses. The post graduate course would require domain expertise.

The programme is designed in consultation with reputed industry experts and addresses all aspects required to become an industry-ready professional. Program Description:
Toonskool is started to fullfil India's growing need for quality animators who will fulfill the requirements of international class studios and production houses.
Toonskool clearly understands the the roll of foundation art and Classical techniques in animation and hence places the emphasis on these vital areas apart from teaching digital tools and skill sets. Toonskool follows the right content and right methods in teaching so that the students can 'learn right'.

Toonskool is promoted and run by people having strong background in Education, Animation production and training.

Ashwin Ajila the main promoter & Managing Director comes from the Nitte family which runs the Nitte Educational trust that runs colleges (medical, engineering, arts, etc.) and institutions across the State of Karnataka. having educated from UK is also the co-promoter of another classical animation production studio.

R.Govardhan the CTO has many years of animation production & training expertise. Himself an expert animator, and renowned trainer has trained hundreds of animators who are working in almost all the leading studios in India. Also, as the Course director divides his time between expert lectures & mentoring an expert team of animators & trainers across the country.

Toonskool trains students through three channels: Firstly through long term (three year) programs in partnership with renowned arts and science colleges; Secondly short term vocational programs through training centers in various cities; thirdly through Schools supplementing the school curriculum.



Faculty Description:
Faculty will be artists with production experience and the curriculum will be constantly upgraded to include the latest in technology and practices.

Several of our faculty have joined us to ensure that a steady stream of well trained artists are created to join the pool of animators required to support the many projects that are coming up.

They have worked with the largest studios in India and on international projects.

Alumni Information:
The first batch will be passing out at the end of this year.

Career Placement Information:
One of the promoters of this academy is Isearch - the leaders in placement in the animation industry. We have tie-ups with several of the leading studios who are actively seeking more trained artists for their production line.

Other Pertinent Information:
Animation industry in India has a shortage of more than 5,000 animators already. In 4 years the shortage is expected to clim to a 100,000. This industry is poised to grow exponentially. Talent that is trained right will be absorbed immediately.
