Entrance Requirements:
Pre-requisite for Learning Maya Introduction: None, but some Graphics and 3D Animation background would be helpful

Pre-requisite for Learning Maya Advanced: Learning Maya Introduction or equivalent experience

Faculty Description:
Matt Dewees, Alias-Certified Instructor
Matt Dewees combines a career working in 3D Graphics and Animation with the experience in traditional filmmaking and cinematography. Working in the US as a trainer and consultant, Matt worked closely with several major Film Studios on feature films and broadcast animations. Matt has experience as a production artist in character set-up and animation, photo-realistic rendering, camera matching CG animation with live action, and creating digital doubles and CG environments.

Alumni Information:
DMA students come from all walks of life and have attended our courses from the beginner level to the advanced level. 70% of our students have proceeded to work in the local film and TV industry.

Career Placement Information:
Digital Media Academy is in a good position to connect students to the local industry for several reasons:

1) All instructors are industry practitioners.
2) As a subsidiary of Mega Media Pte Ltd, a well-known film production company, DMA students have the opportunity to work on film/video productions and gain first-hand experience.
3) Tony Chow, DMA's Founder, is also the President of the Association of Independent Television Production Companies, and is able to connect students with local media companies.
4) DMA is working with its partners, Alias and Sandz, to provide student attachments to animation and post-production companies after completion of Maya courses at DMA.
