Entrance Requirements:
We are a non-profit and have an open enrollment policy for our students. There is no pre-requisite, we are here to educate and introduce the art of animation to all ages with all goals.

Program Philosophy:
Austin School of Film @ Motion Media Arts Center

A non-profit independent film, art, and technology center that supports every aspect of production from idea to distribution. Our goal is to educate, train, and develop emerging artists of all ages to be active participants in shaping our 21st century culture.

Faculty Description:
Samantha Inoue Harte, Animation
A graduate from UT at Austin with a BFA in Studio Art and BA in Art History, Samantha is the quintessential Renaissance Woman. She is a recent Co-owner of Saiko Studios LLC, an Austin-based 2D animation company, and teaches animation at Austin School of Film and Austin Community College. Her previous animation experience includes working for Little Wolf Entertainment, HorsebackSalad Entertainment, and Powerhouse Animation Studios...(she would also like to note that she is an avid zombie fan).

Dominic Vitucci, Animation
An experienced animator and illustrator, Dominic has taught animation classes at the Art Center at Cedar Park and the Austin Museum of Art at Laguna Gloria, in addition to a variety of Digital Arts Media courses. He previous animation experience includes Horseback Salad Animation, HFTP, Cadwear.com, 1st Buy.com, and Little Wolf Entertainment.

Career Placement Information:
We help our students to build their portfolio, college entrance recommendations, and acquire internships with animation and gaming studios in and around the Austin, TX area.
